Sue grew up in Berks County where she met and married a Dairy farmer, Jed Beshore. For the past 25 years, they’ve resided on a third generation Dairy farm with their family in Northern York County, where they raise registered Holsteins. Sue’s oldest, Angie is a recent graduate of Millersville University, having majored in special and elementary education. She is now teaching in the West Shore School District. KC, the youngest, is a Junior at Redland High School and is very active in playing football, basketball, and baseball. Both children are members of the Pennsylvania Junior Holstein association. In fact, Angie was president in 2004 and the family co-chaired the convention in 2006! Sue is a former board member for the York County Extension and KC is a former York County 4-H member .

Jed and Sue are both Pennsylvania Holstein Association members and co-chaired the 2006 state Holstein convention. Sue is active in York County extension board.  The entire family is very active in Paddletown St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

Sue worked for eight years in the agricultural community at Telmark/Wells Fargo Leasing before she began working with the Morrissey Insurance Agency in January of 2005. She immediately set to work studying and quickly passed her Property and Casualty Licensing exam. She is now back in the ag industry, writing farm lines of insurance for Morrissey!
