Katie grew up on a dairy and crop farm in Western PA and graduated from Penn State in 2007 with a degree in Animal Science and minor in Agribusiness Management. While studying at Penn State, she met her husband, David. She and her family operate a dairy and crop farm (Zahncroft Dairy LLC) in Berks County where they milk 95 registered Holsteins and Brown Swiss and raise alfalfa, corn, soybeans, and small grains. In her spare time, you will find her feeding calves, milking cows, hauling hay, doing the bookwork, or whatever else needs done around the farm. She also enjoys gardening, sports, and spending time with family and friends.
